Yoshi Seems To Enjoy the Food Lovers Diet

By Rob Sutter

Video game characters don't seem to have a set diet put into place, since it appears though anything that they put into their bodies is not going to have an entirely negative impact. They are going to be able to perform the craziest of tasks and demanding of actions, so what's the difference? However, I could only imagine that a food lovers diet had to be implemented by some. Out of all of the personalities in gaming to name, Yoshi seems to be at the forefront for me.

The green dinosaur friend of the highly-regarded Mario, Yoshi is loyal to him and sticks with the mustachioed man through a number of travels. His ability to hover in the air and consume enemies in order to transform them into eggs is a few of his signatures. People within the gaming world seem to recognize him for those traits, if not for his dino-like appearance. However, one also has to consider his diet apart from the enemies he consumes and it is surprisingly clean.

Yoshi would most likely find something to enjoy in the food lovers diet, if he hasn't been using it before, since his love of fruit seems to expand constantly. This particular diet calls for as much produce and lean meat to be consumed. It's one of those diets where people are going to have various amounts of products eaten, depending on the size of their stomachs. No matter how much of a black hole Yoshi's stomach may be, food authorities like Quorn can certainly assist him.

"Yoshi's Story"" might just be the one video game that this character possesses in which the consumption of fruit is most prevalent. For those who are confused as to what this means, you actually have to eat as much fruit as it fits the border until it's enough. You have to do so in order to progress throughout the same and I have to believe there's a wellness message somewhere within. Whether it was intentional or not, I can't deny that it is present.

It seems like Yoshi has a certain diet to follow in comparison to other animals but it's one that is strangely healthy. You would think that dinosaurs would be more apt to consuming meat on a heavy basis but I don't think I've ever seen him do such a thing. He's usually only eaten food which has grown on trees or within bushes, so fruits and vegetables remain his only two forms on the palette. It's something to consider that an animal can hold up a regimen better than a human.
